KANG

Guest Guide, AMGA trained Single Pitch Instructor

When the rock calls, Kang always answers, and the rock is always calling. Kang found climbing relatively late in life, at the age of 30, and was a weekend warrior in the climbing gym until he discovered outdoor climbing. It turned an occasional hobby into a years-long passion. Sharing the love for outdoor climbing has long been one of Kang’s greatest joys in climbing, even before he became a guide/instructor.

Now, as part of the QXAdventures team, he gets to share that passion for outdoor climbing with people from all walks of life, helping them learn new skills, find their own path to joy in climbing, or just have a fantastic day out on the rock. In his professional climbing life, Kang has guided in Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore, and on the personal climbing front, he has red-pointed up to 5.14 throughout Europe and South-East Asia. He is always cheerful, upbeat and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get the most out of your time out climbing with him.

Chong Chong 虫虫

Qxadventures certified Distraction Manager

Woof, I’m Chongchong. I’m the distraction manager at Qxadventures Mountain Guides. I am getting old now and does not do field work anymore. However I make guest appearance if you request for it. Guest appearance gets me request bonus and that means more food. Belly rubs and hikes are my favourite activities! I hope to be a IFMGA guide one day!
